In today’s technology driven society, written communication is king. In fact, written communication is often more important and frequent than face-to-face communication. One of the advantages of online education is that the students develop solid written communication skills, probably more so than those on campus. At least this was the case for me. While college writing was not easy for me at first, I learned, and so can you.

The Writing Centre, located within the Language Development Group, is a student-oriented space which aims to provide mediation in the process of academic writing. Students from all disciplinary backgrounds as well as tertiary levels are encouraged to engage in the one-on-one consultancy service offered.
